Swiss FADP Representative List: The Reality
There is no official Swiss FADP representative list. Under Art. 14 FADP, non-Swiss controllers must designate a representative. Compare verified providers from Cruxi's vetted directory.
Important: There Is No Official Swiss FADP Representative List
The Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) does not maintain a public directory, registry, or list of FADP Article 14 representatives. Non-Swiss controllers must designate a representative in Switzerland when they process data of persons in Switzerland. There is no certification, accreditation, or public list.
Why There Is No Official List
Under Swiss FADP Article 14, the representative must be established in Switzerland. However:
- The FDPIC does not publish a registry of representatives
- There is no accreditation or certification program
- No Swiss authority maintains a list of representative service providers
